Web3 for Human Rights Activists: open source software & the right to code
A monthly salon inviting human rights organizers and Web3 creators to intentionally shape a human-first future for the web.

This salon, presented by Amnesty International and Fight for the Future, will bring together human rights experts, web3 creators, and advocates for open source software to discuss how the right to code is getting caught in the crossfire of attempts to regulate cryptocurrencies and privacy tools. What is culturally conducive to urgently needed pro-privacy open source tools flourishing?

Panelists include @Alahdiin of Mobilecoin, Savannah Lee from Mysterium Network, and Benedict Lau from Starling Labs.

Participants are encouraged to submit questions for discussion. Our intent is to have a critical discussion of the place that human rights activists can take in shaping these controversial emerging technologies, and create a space where we can learn from each other.
